instructional technologist | web developer
I am an instructional technology fellow for the OpenLab at the New York City College Of Technology (City Tech) and the web developer for the Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies. I also do freelance web development, mostly WordPress. I'm technically a PhD candidate in Political Science at the CUNY Graduate Center and occasionally I try to write my dissertation.
I've also been a writing fellow and educational technology fellow with Writing at Queens, a research fellow for College Writing 1, and a writing fellow for College Writing 2 at Queens College. I was an adjunct lecturer in Political Science at Baruch and Hunter Colleges, and a research associate at the Ralph Bunche Institute for International Studies.

A Note about the Photograph
The photo above (taken in June 2013) is of the Ivan Vasov People's Library, the main public library in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, one of my favorite cities. The library, founded in 1881, is named after the famous Bulgarian writer, Ivan Vasov (1850-1921). The current building, which opened in 1974, was designed by Bulgarian architect Maria Mileva. People tend to think of 1970s socialist-era architecture as ugly and dismal, but I have a weakness for the Brutalist style.
